Justice For Life provides a 90 day educational component designed for individuals who need a group intervention and/or counseling. These psycho-educational sessions will emphasize a curriculum on addressing life issues such as denial, critical thinking, family, relationships and the addiction process.

This comprehensive intensive educational component provides available and culturally respective interventions that work diligently to amend the individual’s attitudes, beliefs and behavior about their substance use and chaotic lifestyle (many of these members have suffered traumatic events or distress in their lives and have never addressed these issues).

This format is grounded on the research-based concept that an individual’s therapeutic change occurs when treatment works in tandem with support from the criminal justice system.  The coordinated approach is augmented to ensure and support the effective outcomes that occur when multiple educational interventions are also used. These educational interventions will include motivational approaches, cognitive behavior, community reinforcement, case management, and continuing care.

The program uses an intensive, multi-dimensional, systemic approach where current (updated) substance abuse education is introduced to the individual with evidence-based approaches as the counseling tool.

PEG goups are now being held on Tuesday at 6:30 pm and Saturday Morning at 10:00 am.
